Description
Harvest moon is an artwork in a series of modern landscapes, depicting a pebble river and flower fields bathed in the bright light of a full golden moon. A series of wall art which explores the seasons and the beauty found in Nature.
The rich brown red colours of the iron oxide glazed handmade ceramic pieces and Yellow iridescent glass have been worked together to form an abstract landscape design with soft rolling hills and a meandering river illuminated by the light of a full Harvest moon. A small handcrafted yellow ceramic poppy provides a 3D relief to the work
Each element of the artwork is handmade and individual and i never make my tile exactly the same.
The handcrafted ceramic tile measures approx. 15cm x 15cm and is mounted into a black painted base frame measuring 30x30cm. There is a fixing on the back of the wooden base so that it can be hung on a wall or it can adorn a table, bookcase or shelf. The work also has Black felt on the back so that the wall is not marked.
The picture is also displayed on a small display easel, which i also sell in my Etsy shop.
The tile artworks are wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed for delivery. i have an environmental policy and use recycled packaging.
